The 10th edition of the Fadjr International Festival of Visual Arts has set to showcase more than 90 works.
The works to go on display at this edition of the event from January 23 in will be from Iran and a number of other countries.
Holding a press conference at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art on Tuesday, the secretary of the festival Mojtaba Aqaei said the works will be showcased at the Saba Art and Cultural Institute.
He added that the festival will also put exhibitions in order for the cities of more than 20 Iranian provinces.
The festival will put works by artists from Spain, Russia, Greece, Mexico, Turkey and more than a few other countries on display at its international section.
Some works by those Iranian artists who have won prizes at national and international events will be showcased at Tehran’s Niavaran Cultural Center.
Furthermore, the Palestine Museum of Contemporary Art in Tehran will host the display of a selection of works showcased during the past nine editions of the festival.
The organizers have also predicted a special day for each participating country during the event.
Center for Visual Arts of Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in collaboration with the Institute for Development of Contemporary Visual Arts hold the Fadjr International Festival of Visual Arts with the aim of introducing the pure ideas and novel and creative art and research creations.
